Classic Öhlins for vintage Husqvarna 66-74
Mounted body down for adequate chain clearance, sprung for individual rider weights. These may be mounted body up, but chain runs close enough to sometimes scrape spring. These are modern shim stacks with gas isolation piston for maximum performance. Springs are available for future tuning if needed. cam adjusted preload is included.

Hi Paul, thanks for checking, i stock the Classic Ohlins in the standard built lengths and i select the spring for application - $470+ shipping - in stock ready to ship
length - 13.4"
stroke - 4.1"
this configuration is used on many mag 250s
however -
stock Mag 250 shock is 11.9" this standard Ohlins Classic is 13.4"
stock Mag 250 shock travel is 3.7 this Ohlins is 4+
so naturally a 250 Mag bike with 13.4 Ohlins Classics sits higher at rear, chain may rub top of swing arm, and actual rear wheel travel is 6"+, this is because of the moved up position of the shock mount and longer Mag 250 swing arm.
so
Classic Ohlins shock can be built to custom order (and i do this regularly for Mag 250s and others)

stroke - 92mm
rear wheel travel actual - 5.3", tech inspec observed - 4"

Items to consider when buying Ohlins above shocks-
1) Buy your shocks from somone who actually knows the business so you can follow up with questions and tech to make your bike the best.
2) Purchase above shock set with 8mm spacers and drill the 8mm out to 3/8" if you want this 3/8"fit. Otherwise you will be modifying your bike to fit 10mm (and buying new bolts and nuts) or putting 3/8" bolts in a 10mm bore. You may be already 10mm , no problem, but stock period Girlings (1965-1976)are 3/8" mount bolts.
3) All of the above sets come with the short end eyes which work pretty well with many bikes
