Evo-Sports, Inc. invites all motocross enthusiasts to a weekend of history, celebration, motocross new and old, and intense bench racing at the 4th Annual Texas Vintage Pro-Am presented by Toyota and Metro Racing. To be held October 2nd & 3rd at historic Rio Bravo MX Park in Houston, Texas.

This two-day one of a kind event will feature a Marty Smith Motocross School, 9 Vintage classes, 4 Modern and 3 Mini classes. In addition to the amateur classes, there will be 2 Pro classes; Vintage and Evolution. Both classes will offer a purse of $4,000 each.

On Saturday evening riders and guests are invited to the "Meet the Legends" party held at a hotel near the track. The evening festivities will include a "Legend Jersey" auction that will benefit the Clayton Foundation. Also, join us in a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the day Jimmy Weinert was the 1st American to beat the Europeans in the 1974 Trans-Am at the Rio Bravo facility.

Legends planning to compete are Kent Howerton, Marty Smith, Warren Reid, Gary Jones, Brad Lackey, Donnie Cantaloupi, Steve Wise, Tom Benolkin, Tommy Croft, Dick Burleson, Jim Pomeroy, Billy Grossi, Carlos Serranos, Ron Pomeroy, Jack Hicks, Dean Lane and the "Jammer" himself, Jimmy Weinert.

Spend the weekend with the true legends of our sport, enjoy the machinery, the history, the riders and the Texas hospitality.

You can camp out at this event with nice showers available for men and women. Local resturants within 5 miles are great! Many people buy flea space and campout in van or tent , sell a little stuff. Or there is a campground as well.

Hi Craig, I had some questions regarding the Mid Ohio event this coming July. I called the 1-800 number and the woman I spoke with told me that the dates for this year are July 7,8 and 9 . She also told me that general admission price for all 3 days is $30.00, she also gave the number for the convention and visitors center. It is 1-800-642-8282, they provide info on lodging and such, just something you may want to pass on.
