Question - Can I use this Gunnar Gasser on my
1974 250 Mag? or my 1970 400 cross? or my 76 125CR? or my 85 400WRX?
Answer -YES! This Gunnar Gasser bolts right
on , the Gunnar cable hooks right up at the correct length for all Husqvarna
using a Bing 54 (36mm) , Bing 84 (32mm)or Mikuni (38mm-40mm). The throttle
and carburator have adjustments as well to make sure it is a perfect fit.
So this throttle/cable combo bolts right on to any Husqvarna 1970 thru
1988. Probably fits early side float Bings as well.
Question - Is this the real original Gunnar Gasser?
Answer - YES! This is the real Gunnar Gasser
as designed and produced by Gunnar Lindström in Sweden. This throttle
is most likely one of the most important milestone designs for competition
motorcycles to come along in the past 30 years. Every single motorcycle
manuafacture has copied this throttle and today uses the design exclusively
on their competition bikes.
Question - If I buy 2 Gunnar Gassers, can i get
a discount?
Answer - YES! The second and more Gunnars would
cost $20. The shipping cost would add $1 per each extra throttle.
Question - You show parts for early Gunnars,
do you sell pieces for this model?
Answer - No, sorry, not at this time, i just
located some early parts. I am offering these Gunnars at such a low price
that shopping or supplying pieces may not make sense for me.
Question - You talk about an early Gunnar and
the current Gunnar model, can you explain?
Answer - Yes, the current model I offer is the
second generation, there was one earlier model. This earlier model is identified
by the round, aluminum disc used as the pulley cover. The early throttle
is also marked MADE IN SWEDEN,so
don't confuse with the many copy cats made since. This exact current model
has been in use since late '79 and replaced the earlier version.
The improvements were quick cable change and
fewer pieces.
