Miura Wheels - Using SV wheels on the P400 and P400S

A common desire of Miura owners is to have the wider, more agressive looking SV wheels on their Miura. The standard Miura wheels are 7". The SV wheels, 9" rears and 7.5" fronts, have all of their offset to the outside.

So the question has always been - Can i fit the 9" SV wheels on the rear of my Miura?
The answer has always been - Yes, but the tires will  rub a little, so you need to hammer the insides of your wheel wells, like you would a 1972 Ford Pinto, to make them work.
In actual practice, the SV wheels, even with hammering, ....................sombody fill me in!
